Score Some Points: Learn Beyond the Classroom
  • It is time to update your Learning Beyond the Classroom portfolio and score some points.  You have done lots of experiential learning, so take some time and submit reports on activities already completed.
  • May 2022 graduates: remember that you must have completed the program by the end of January 2022 in order to earn the LBC certificate.
  • If you have submitted a report, check and see if you have been asked to supply more information.  If you find that you have received “0” points on a report, click on your score and you will see what questions you have been asked to answer.  Resubmit your report with the required information so that your LBC points can be updated.
  • Do you need financial support to pursue an experiential learning activity?  Are you going to a conference?  Studying abroad?  Doing community service?  Apply for an LBC grant.  For details on the application process please click here
  • Not enrolled in Learning Beyond the Classroom (LBC)? Enroll today by clicking HERE!

If you have questions, contact LBC at   lbc@purdue.edu

We recently had a great event on artificial intelligence featuring Dr. Ming Yin, Associate Professor from Purdue's Department of Computer Science. Our WISP members gained an understanding of the evolution of artificial intelligence over time and its impact on different scientific fields, as well as everyday life.

Steps to Leaps for Students
Student Discussion and Dialogue - EXAMPLES OF THE STEPS TO LEAPS PILLARS IN ATHLETICS

During the Olympics we saw a great example of the Steps to Leaps Pillars playing out in Simone Biles. We saw her Network of fellow gymnasts, her Leadership, the Impact she had, a broad conversation about Well-Being and ultimately her Grit. The Steps to Leaps pillars are in so many aspects of athletics.  Come and join a conversation about how all of students can see the pillars in their lives using the lens of athletes

When: Tuesday, October 21, 2021 4:00 - 4:30 pm
